Responsibilities
Directly manage a team of Software Engineers, onshore and offshore, organizing resources against product areas and providing individual direction and performance management.
Provide technical guidance and direction to the team.
Research and ensure the appropriate use of AI development tools across your team.
Apply agile development practices, working closely with Product Management, QA, and DevOps to rapidly deliver high value features.
Lead the effort in sizing feature development as part of the sprint planning process.
Establish coding and unit test standards applied by the team.
Address and resolve escalated production issues in a timely manner, conducting postmortems and root cause analysis and implementing mitigation strategies based on what was learned. Qualities

5 years of professional experience managing a software development team.
At least 8 years of professional web development experience using a modern tech stack. Sufficient experience in java, react, postgres, and .net technologies to act as a subject matter expert.
Experience using modern AI-assist IDEs and vibe coding tools.
Experience deploying and operating SaaS products in AWS leveraging container orchestration technologies like EKS.
Experience delivering a commercial sotware product using agile/scrum practices.
Experience managing on-call participation in and administration of an incident managment system (e.g. pagerduty, datadog). Benefits
