Elizabeth Avenue Elementary School

We are looking for a dynamic educational leader to assume the role of Vice Principal for Elizabeth Avenue School.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting the Principal in carrying out any duties as directed by the Principal, including the supervision and evaluation of professional and support staff.

The ideal candidate will speak Spanish

A strong knowledge of instruction, assessment, supervision, evaluation of teacher growth and student achievement

Demonstrate experience with curriculum development, scheduling, & facilities management.

Personnel management, community relations, and outreach

Excellent communication skills and be well-versed with NJSLS, State Assessments and data analysis;

Knowledge of the instruction of English Language Learners, special education, and best practices in elementary education. QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate must possess a valid New Jersey Principal certificate and successful teaching experience.

Experience with the Danielson Framework and Positive Behavior Systems is preferred.

Spanish speaking a plus.
