We're seeking a proactive and technical Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in enhancing the security posture of our existing systems, integrating cutting-edge DevSecOps tooling, and ensuring the seamless and secure operation of our critical infrastructure within a complex, large-scale environment.
What You'll Do:
Augment & Secure Existing Codebases: Analyze, refine, and inject security measures directly into existing application and infrastructure code, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust security controls to harden deployed systems.
DevSecOps Tooling & Pipelines: Select, integrate, configure, and optimize a comprehensive suite of DevSecOps tools within CI/CD pipelines to automate security checks and enforcement across the enterprise.
Architect Secure Identity & Access: Design and implement advanced identity and access management (IAM) solutions, integrating them with existing systems and ensuring least privilege access across our enterprise ecosystem.
Develop Secure IaC with Terraform: Independently develop, enhance, and maintain secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing enterprise-grade infrastructure, including firewall and network configurations.
Integrate Security into Enterprise Systems: Lead the integration of security solutions and APIs with diverse existing enterprise systems and applications, ensuring seamless, secure data flow and operational continuity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Active DHS Public Trust Clearance with ability and willingness to process for Top Secret clearance
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
8+ years of hands-on experience in a DevSecOps, DevOps, or senior cloud engineering role with a strong cloud and enterprise security focus
Proven expertise in augmenting and securing existing codebases and integrating security best practices directly into application development
Experience with DevSecOps tooling and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with integration tools used within the DevSecOps process (e.g., GitLab/GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, Selenium, Artifactory, etc.)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including provisioning complex infrastructure and network security components like firewalls
Hands-on experience with tools for monitoring, alerting, and analysis (e.g., Splunk, Datadog)
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex security and operational challenges within enterprise ecosystems
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence technical direction
Bonus Points/Desired Skills:
Cloud Certifications: AWS, GCP, or Azure security or DevOps certifications are a plus
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications
Proficiency in a scripting language like Python or Go for automation and tool development
Strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and implementation within enterprise environments

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and work days are Monday through Friday. Specific work hours are established with Team Lead. Work location may vary, including onsite requirements which are outlined in the requirements and confirmed with Team Lead.
