Job Description

Production Blending Operator, Up to $25/hr – Wixom, MI

Qualifications:

Set up production equipment and ensure all supplies are ready before executing job orders

Operate production machines effectively and safely following company guidelines

Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions

Adhere to all company safety procedures, especially those involving hazardous materials

Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including process improvement and special projects

Maintain good communication with team members and supervisors

Skills:

High school diploma or GED required

6 months to 1 year of production operation experience required; chemical production experience is a plus

Basic math skills required, must be able to do conversions

Ability to operate production machines and handle chemicals safely

Forklift certification preferred

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical communication ability

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and distinguish color differences

Must be comfortable wearing PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hazmat, and respiratory masks
