Email Campaign Developer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Remote (EST work hours required)

A leading Fortune 500 organization is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Email Campaign Developer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role involves building, testing, and deploying responsive, dynamic HTML email campaigns that deliver a seamless and engaging experience across devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution

Set up and manage automations and journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Ensure all emails comply with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR)

Email Development & Coding

Build responsive, mobile-friendly HTML email templates tailored for Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Code HTML and CSS by hand, optimized specifically for email (not just websites)

Enable dynamic content and personalization within campaigns

Testing & Troubleshooting

Conduct rendering tests across email clients and devices to ensure consistency

Troubleshoot formatting and deliverability issues using email testing tools

Creative Support

Modify existing templates and perform light design work, including image editing and GIF creation

Use tools like Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver to refine visuals

Continuous Learning & Improvement

Stay current with industry trends in email development, design, and compliance

Share best practices and contribute to process optimization

What You'll Bring:

3–5 years of professional experience in email development

Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder)

Strong HTML/CSS skills tailored for email

Familiarity with email testing and QA tools

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities

Bonus: Experience with other ESPs like Adobe AJO

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
