HiFyve is hiring for a Controls Engineer inOmaha, NE!
$90,000 - $100,000 + overtime when traveling (20%-30% travel)
Profit Sharing
Bachelors Degree is NOT required
Roughly $50/day per diem for meals (when traveling)
Direct bill to the client on lodging so the employee doesnt have to pay upfront & be reimbursed (when traveling)
Mileage is reimbursed when traveling via car their personal car to a site (proof of insurance is required)
Cell phone reimbursement

Location:Omaha, NE
Will travel 20-30%. The travel is to perform site surveys once the Pre-Sales Engineering Group sells a new contract.The travel is in 7 states: MO, KS, OK, KY, TN, AR, MS.The travel is usually 1-2 days in length for each trip.If the travel will cause you to be back late, you will stay overnight and come back during business hours the next day.

They put in high-tech Automation / Controls / PLCs into correctional facilities (jails).Everything is integrated into innovative touch panels.These control the jails: utilities, lighting, water, door locks & the intercom system.

The role:Controls Engineer
You will help the company to integrate controls platforms into client sites in order to automate the facilities, by doing site surveys once the sales engineering group completes their systems drawings.
This controls engineer goes on-site with the design (to automate the jail) and does the testing to ensure everything is going to work, comes back & makes any modifications or change requests.
You need to have experience in CAD and Drafting standards
You need to be able to produce system component and line level drawings
Must be 100% proficient in PLCs and Relays
