Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator1 Opening on 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM ($20/hour) 3 Openings on 3rd Shift 11PM-7:30AM ($21/hour)

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for the daily inspection and care of forklift equipment, ensuring efficient material handling within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment.

Work overtime as assigned to meet production demands.

Update location sheets to track material locations.

Locate materials into inventory according to departmental procedures.

Cycle count and pull materials from inventory for work orders.

Return materials to inventory from work orders.

Issue materials based on departmental requests.

Load, unload, and relocate materials as needed for Inventory, Production, Shipping, and Quality Control.

Utilize a forklift to move materials to grinding machines.

Perform physical unloading of products, requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.Essential Skills

6+ months previous forklift experience.

Valid forklift license or ability to attain certification.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
