Job Description
Salary:
Center for Christian Virtues (CCV) Chief Advancement Officer leads, directs, and manages
the growth of CCV. They serve as the creative energy and project driver to expand CCVs donor network, brand, and membership across the organization and all subsidiaries. Through managing a large team, they ensure there is synergy in messaging and strategy throughout CCVs fundraising, marketing, communications, and events. Lastly, they are responsible for ensuring the CCV team is taking necessary actions to meet revenue goals.
Reports to: President of Center for Christian Virtue
Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Compensation: Full-time, Salaried/Exempt
Location: CCV Office in Columbus, Ohio, with Occasional Statewide Travel

Key Responsibilities
Drive CCVs development, communications, and events teams to reach annual strategic and revenue goals.
Passionately focus on capturing, packing, celebrating, and communicating the success and impact of CCV.
Oversee media relations, and ensure CCV is consistently communicating clearly.
Create and drive organization wide marketing plans.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence, data, and technology to streamline CCV development, marketing, and communications strategies.
Oversee the growth and professional development of team members.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key influencers, including vendors, ministry partners.
Develop and lead teams to implement strategies to grow CCV and its subsidiaries data and donor base.
Oversee the execution of high-quality events, including galas and conferences.
Hold the team members accountable for achieving clear metrics and goals.
Maximize the capabilities of CCVs Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to leverage data to deepen relationships.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis and reports for management.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
Skills and Experience
Undergraduate degree required.
10+ years of development experience, preferably with a Christian nonprofit.
Public policy or education experience preferred.
Strong research and writing skills.
Able to communicate orally, both effectively and persuasively.
Tested management skills, with the ability to get the most out of a dynamic team.
Attentive to detail and well organized.
Strong time management skills, punctual, able to operate on a schedule, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to remain flexible with ever-changing priorities.
Thrive in and enjoy working in a multi-tasking, fast-paced work environment; able to get things done, highly efficient.
Self-starter, independent, motivated daily by a passion to see CCVs work advance.
Able to be proactive and strive to close gaps in skill and knowledge.
Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Able to master constituent relationship management database system.
Character and Spiritual
Mature Christian, currently attending or pursuing attendance in a local church.
Agreement with and adherence to CCVs Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
Demonstrated commitment to CCVs mission and position on Core Issues.
Ability to work discreetly with confidential information.
Trustworthy, responsible, tactful, diplomatic, and focused on building consensus rather than emphasizing differences.
