Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) seeks a compassionate and dependable Instructional Assistant to support
the Student Success Room at Table Rock Elementary School. This position is essential in creating a safe, structured, and
supportive environment where students can build social-emotional skills and receive the guidance they need to
succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Located in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, EPSD9 serves approximately 3,650 students in
Eagle Point, White City, and surrounding communities. Our district blends small-town charm with access to urban amenities,

About the Role
The Instructional Assistant in the Student Success Room at Table Rock Elementary will work closely with licensed staff to support
students who may need behavioral, emotional, or academic support outside the general classroom. This role includes supervising
and engaging with students, helping them refocus and return to learning, and reinforcing strategies that support positive behavior
and social-emotional development.
The assistant will prepare materials, help students with classwork, supervise during transitions such as lunch or recess,
and maintain accurate records. The position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability
to respond calmly and appropriately in a variety of student situations. Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism,
and a commitment to building positive relationships with students and staff are essential.
Who We’re Looking For
EPSD9 is seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and who meets one of the following requirements:
completion of two years of postsecondary education, an associate’s degree or higher, or the ability to pass the district’s assessment in
reading, writing, math, and instruction. Candidates must maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License and provide their own transportation.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, compassion, a strong work ethic, and the ability to support students with diverse needs.
The ability to use computers and assist with instruction and communication is important. A commitment to teamwork and
a willingness to learn and grow are highly valued in this role.

Position Title: Instructional Assistant: Student Success Room
Placement: Table Rock Elementary, White City, OR
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 182 days/7 hrs per day (0.875 FTE)
Salary Range: $17.54 - $24.93 per hour
Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution" paid by the District,
and tuition reimbursement is available
The position will begin on September 2, 2025, with screening to begin immediately.
