Job Description

TITLE: Computer Technician – Building Level - Paraprofessional (2 positions open)

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Excellent communication skills

2. Experience with Windows and Google suite

3. Technological maintenance knowledge, skills and experience

4. A.A. (preferred but not required)

5. Such alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and necessary

REPORTS TO: Network Manager/Building Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support for staff and students.

Responsible for maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of building hardware.

Assist in the deployment of hardware and software as well as providing maintenance and updates on network systems.

Assist in the technology training of certified and educational support staff.

Assists in maintaining building hardware inventory.

6. Supports students within the classroom

7. Supervises students in non-instructional settings such as recess, lunch and traffic safety.

8. Participates in in-service and professional development programs, as requested.

9. Coordinate backup procedures.

10. Install approved upgrades and patches.

11.Perform other duties as assigned by the Network Manager, Principal, Business Manager, and/or Superintendent.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months at a salary set by the Board of Education.
