Job Title: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)

Location: Clackamas, Oregon

Department: Clinical Services

Position Type: Full-Time, In Person

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor

Organization: Oasis Treatment

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II, or III) to provide clinical services to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will be skilled in group facilitation, life skills instruction, and collaboration with a licensed interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments using ASAM criteria.

Develop and update individualized treatment plans.

Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.

Facilitate educational and life skills groups that support recovery and daily functioning.

Monitor progress toward treatment goals and revise plans as needed.

Collaboration & Care Coordination:

Work closely with licensed clinicians, peer mentors, and case managers.

Participate in weekly team meetings and clinical supervision.

Assist with referrals to outside providers for continued care or ancillary services.

Documentation & Compliance:

Complete accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

All documentation must be completed the same day services are provided.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OHA, and MHACBO standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Required: Active CADC II certification

Preferred: ADC III and experience in ASAM Level 2.1 or 2.5 settings.

At least 1 year of experience working in a substance use treatment environment.

Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and professional integrity.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Clackamas facility.

Regular schedule, Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility based on client needs.

Supportive and collaborative workplace focused on clinical quality and recovery outcomes.

Compensation:

Hourly Range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification level.
