**Job Summary:**
We are hiring Apprentice Carpenters to support our Journeyman Carpenters on commercial concrete projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in formwork, framing, and concrete carpentry. You’ll assist with layout, material handling, and tool use while learning the trade in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist Journeyman Carpenters in setting up and stripping forms for footings, foundations, walls, columns, and decks.
+ Support slab-on-grade and edge form installations.
+ Measure, cut, and handle materials under supervision.
+ Pick up trash, shovel, stripping decks and pour concrete
+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
+ Maintain a clean and organized job site.
+ Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
+ Learn to read blueprints and layout plans.
+ Participate in daily safety and task briefings.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2 - 4 years of experience in concrete carpentry
+ Proficient in measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork.
+ Experience with podium-type projects or any commercial-level projects.
+ Stripping decks, pour concrete, pick up trash, shovel, etc.
+ Familiarity with commercial construction standards and safety protocols.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
+ Operating equipment is a plus
+ Rigging experience (hand and verbal signal experience) is a plus.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
+ Must have reliable transportation and basic hand and power tools
**Shift:**
+ Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm with some OT
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
