PHP Laravel Backend Developer

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a remote PHP Laravel Backend Developer position. This opportunity is ideal for candidates based in India who can align their work schedule with US Central Time (CST) business hours.

Role Overview

Position: PHP Laravel Backend Developer

Location: Remote (India-based)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM CST

IST Equivalent: 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST

Probation Period: 3 to 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Laravel

Write clean, reusable, and testable PHP code

Optimize application security, performance, and database queries

Integrate APIs and collaborate with front-end developers

Participate in agile ceremonies and follow code review standards

Requirements:

2–5 years of hands-on PHP development experience (Laravel mandatory)

Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs

Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL

Familiarity with Git version control

Strong debugging and analytical skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Working Schedule & Policies

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, aligned with US Central Time (CST) business hours

Indian candidates will work evening shifts to ensure time zone overlap

Breaks:

Short scheduled breaks will be provided during the shift for rest and refreshment

Leave Policy:

Leaves must be planned and communicated at least 7 days in advance

Uninformed or last-minute absences may result in salary deductions

Regular attendance and communication are expected for continued engagement
