Encapsulation Machine Operator

Job Description

Position Summary:

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Softgel Encapsulation Operator to join our Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining softgel encapsulation machinery in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards to ensure the highest quality nutritional supplements.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor softgel encapsulation equipment (including gelatin preparation, encapsulation machine, and tumble dryers)

Adjust machine settings to optimize production and ensure product quality

Inspect capsules for consistency, defects, and adherence to quality specifications

Perform in-process checks and documentation as required by SOPs and batch records

Clean and sanitize all equipment and work areas according to standard operating procedures

Work closely with maintenance and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or process issues

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Maintain accurate production records and complete logs as required

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating softgel encapsulation equipment in a GMP-compliant facility preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical machinery

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed

2nd shift: 12 PM to 8:30 PM
