The Project Engineer will be responsible for complete administrative support for assigned project manager(s), maintaining accurate and thorough company records, tracking RFI’s and submittals and production of construction documents.
ResponsibilitiesProcesses subcontractor commitment documents and associated reports including, but not limited to, Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Change Orders in Procore within 48 hours of issuance from Manager or Project ManagerProcesses owner commitment documents including, but not limited to, Contract, Change Order Proposals, and Change OrdersReceives executed subcontract commitment documents, records executed date and discount terms in Procore within 24 hours.
Scan executed document to server and upload in ProcoreProduces professional written correspondence on own accord and as directed by Manager or Project ManagerCompletes submittal process, as per schedule, and within pre-determined time frame (internal turn-around to be 48 hours)Prepares and Tracks RFI’s and Submittals with assistance from Manager or Project Manager as requiredAssists with all phases of the bidding process as needed, including preparing invitations to bid, sub call-outs, plan distribution and prepare bid recapsCreates and maintains organized and current project filesProvides Superintendents with updated subcontractor and project informationPrepares notice of completion and project closeout documents within 30 days of project completionOrganizes and labels field and office files and plans for archiving upon completion of projectSchedules Project Start-Up and Close-Out Meetings upon direction of Project ManagerRun reports and assist Project Manager with monthly cost reportsAttends weekly construction meetingsCoordinates with Accounting Department on owner billings and project related accounting issues Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience1 - 3 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project managerFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
