Our challenge As part of our dedicated payment application development team, we are seeking a highly skilled developer with hands-on experience in MTS (Modular Transaction Switch) platforms.
The role is critical to ensuring the resilience, integrity, and continuous availability of high-volume payment processing systems including ACH, Wire, Card Payments, Real-Time Payments (RTP), and Digital Wallet transactions.
Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120K - $125K/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Develop and customize ACI MTS application components to meet business requirements.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand payment processing needs and translate them into technical specifications.Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and new features within the MTS platform.Configure and set up MTS processes, lines, queues, and related components for optimal performance and reliability.Perform unit testing and support integration testing to ensure application functionality and stability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MTS application development, configuration, and processing.Assist in the migration and upgrade activities of MTS applications to newer versions or platforms.Document technical designs, development tasks, and configuration details for future reference and compliance.Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams for deployment, environment setup, and support.Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to payment systems and ACI MTS platform.
Requirements: Good knowledge in UNIX ACI MTS Money Transfer System customizations, enhancements, migrations, or upgrades.Understanding and experienced with FED, SWIFT and CHIPS payments message flow and processing.Understanding the current FIN (MT) format and new ISO20022 format.Extensive experience in handling MTS Video.Experience in LINUX, UNIX/AIX platform, COBOL - VI, Unix command.Hands on experience in troubleshooting and setup of MTS Configurations (MTS processes, MTS lines, MTS queues, Remote records, MTS database REL & AUX etc)Good experience in handling database (ENTIA, Oracle) and IBM MQ.
