Database Administrator

FirstFour Group, the Gulf South's premier provider of specialized IT recruitment, is currently seeking a dynamic SQL DBA / Application Developer on behalf of our client, an North American specialty manufacturer.

This is a hybrid, "local remote" role for individuals located within a reasonable commuting distance from Mobile, AL.

Our client will not entertain candidates requiring visa assistance (including F-1 CPT/OPT or H1-B) or candidates not based in the Gulf South Region.

After onboarding, the role will evolve into a mostly remote role that will involve occasional travel to Mobile and possibly remote sites in the U.S.

and Canada to support the client's acquisition strategy.

What You Will Do: Lead data ETL for ERP conversions from various legacy ERPs to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralLead systems integrationsAdminister Microsoft SQL (Std, Azure SQL, +)Design and implement data structure and governance in Microsoft Dataverse, SharePointWork closely with IT Network team to manage data systems security and licensingSupport Business Intelligence team with data access, ensuring data integrityDocument data structures, design decisions, and changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintenance.Provide data technical support and guidance to others, fostering skill development and knowledge transferCollaborate with ERP consultants to troubleshoot issues and extend capabilities of legacy systemsWrite work instructions, train users on systems What You Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or alternate relevant IT certifications along with experience and exceptional capability10+ years’ experience in database administration, application development, systems integrations, ERP systems developmentExceptional Cybersecurity principlesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsContinuous improvement attitude in daily workAbility to manage confidential data Required experience: SQL administration (queries, scripts, stored procedures, backup strategies, optimization, permissions)Integrating database systemsAPI design principlesData warehousing.Net application development Preferred skills: Microsoft Power Platform development (Power Apps)Microsoft Dataverse Our client offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, performance based bonus, comprehensive benefits, and plenty of room for growth.
