Job description AMHS CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, installation and maintenance of factory automation systems to ensure the production seamless flow of carriers(goods) automatically within operations, optimizing processes, and driving innovation in factory automation initiatives.

This position will also need to interact with other teams and vendors to solve complex and/or urgent problems by identifying and evaluating alternatives or by providing needed information and advice.

This position requires some on-call support.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop and implement factory automation solutions, including robotics, conveyor systems, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT) and Material Control system (MCS) and other technologies -Integrate AMHS solutions with existing material control system and other relevant software platforms -Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and implement cutting-edge AMHS automation technologies Maintenance and Troubleshooting for AMHS CIM (SCS/CCS/ACS/OCS) - Monitoring transfer commands from host system, MCS (Material Control System) and analysing logs for abnormal move for the specific transfer command and finding root cause.

Manage and analyze factory automation data and identify areas for improvement and/or opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs -Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for AMHS automation systems, resolving issues and optimizing performance to minimize downtime and disruptions by CIM.

Continuous Improvement -Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends and best practices in factory automation and evaluate their potential impact on business operations and competitiveness -Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement through AMHS CIM program patch accordance with equipment upgrades or modifications -Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and production output Compliance and Safety -Track and monitor the use of factory automation systems to ensure safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements -Design and support countermeasure plan and take follow-up measures regarding preventing safety accidents -Make sure that supervisors and operators are trained regularly and appropriately regarding potential safety risks and prevention measures Education: -Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent Experience: -3-5 years of relevant experience in EV battery, auto part, automobile industry, Semi-conductor manufacturing industry or similar high-volume manufacturing in electric or chemical component Language Skills: -Proficiency in English -Preferred Korean Bilingual Job Competencies: - Understanding of the AMHS automation systems and rapid trouble shooting countermeasures -Ability to apply knowledge of automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, MCS/RTD (Material Control System / Real-Time Dispatcher) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) -Ability to organize daily system monitoring, conduct trouble shooting and analyse AMHS logs for abnormal transfers -Ability to analyse transfer data and implement improvements in automation processes -Skills in conducting thorough testing and quality assurance for AMHS automation systems -Ability to solve difficult problems related to AMHS automation engineering -Commitment to safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements in all automation activities Behavorial Competencies: Overcome fear of failure, strives to keep trying with a can-do attitude and high level of enthusiasm -Take ownership of the tasks and complete it responsibly -Build cross-functional relationships within and outside the organization, collaborate to achieve organizational goals through good communication and information sharing -Clearly understand the expectations and desires of others and clearly communicate with others through various forms of communication to achieve organizational goals -Continuously develop and secure knowledge and skills in related areas of work and utilize them appropriately in the organization -Always work with a problem-solving mindset and strive to execute ideas for work improvement into practice Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Kingston, GA 30145 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Kingston, GA 30145: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
