AI Developer Location: Chantilly, VA Work Type: Onsite Remote Work: No Job Description Gridiron IT seeking a skilled and innovative AI Software Developer to join our team in developing cutting-edge Generative AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for artificial intelligence technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications that leverage Generative AI capabilities to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:Develop web applications using .NET and C# that integrate Generative AI functionalitiesImplement and optimize AI-powered features such as chatbots, question-answering systems, and AI agentsDesign and develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) operations to enhance AI model performanceCreate and maintain prompt workflows for various AI tasksIntegrate and work with AWS Bedrock and Bedrock knowledgebasesUtilize Anthropic Claude Sonnet for advanced language processing tasksWorks closely with business analysts, UI/UX developers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirementsEnsure code quality, performance, and scalability of AI-powered web applicationsStay up-to-date with the latest developments in Generative AI and web technologies Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field5+ years' of related experience3+ years of experience in web application development using .NET and C#Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with MySQL database design and managementFamiliarity with AWS services, particularly AWS BedrockKnowledge of Generative AI concepts and technologiesExperience with implementing chatbots or conversational AI systemsUnderstanding of RAG operations and prompt engineeringFamiliarity with large language models like Anthropic Claude SonnetStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAn active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:AWS certification (AWS Developer Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional)CompTIA Security+ CertificationExperience with PythonKnowledge of Agile software developmentKnowledge and understanding of the DoD or IC communities Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

TS/SCI & CI POLYGRAPH REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000YR (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
