Network Engineer

Our client, a large multinational retail company, is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join their enterprise infrastructure team.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure.Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP.Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure and scalable network solutions.Assist in the deployment and management of VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL) and firewall configurations.Support hybrid cloud and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) environments.Contribute to network automation using Ansible, Git, Python, or Bash.

Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking.Strong experience with Juniper hardware/software (highly desirable).Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade networking platforms.Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).Solid understanding of routing/switching protocols and network security.

Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with Linux and Windows server environments.Exposure to cloud networking, virtualization, and SDN technologies.Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
