This Will Offer You:The opportunity to tackle deep systems-level engineering challenges at scaleIn-person collaboration in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environmentCompetitive compensation ($200–300k in the US / £120–150k in the UK), equity, and a 7+ year runwayA direct hand in shaping a platform at the intersection of systems, storage, and machine-scale dataFull visa sponsorship and relocation support to the UK or US Responsibilities:Architect and build core components of a high-performance data platformDesign storage engines, optimize file formats, and develop distributed system architectureImprove performance and reliability of query execution on structured and unstructured dataBuild robust backend services to support internal tools and customer-facing capabilitiesContribute to launch-readiness by helping productionize features and polish workflows You Will Need:5+ years of experience building backend or systems-level softwareStrong programming skills in Rust, C, or C++Solid understanding of operating systems, file systems, and storage internalsExperience working with modern data formats or infrastructure tools (e.g., Apache Arrow, Parquet, DuckDB, ClickHouse)A passion for infrastructure and performance problemsWillingness and ability to work on-site 5 days/week in London or New York City
