Software Engineer in Test

Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) Compensation: $100,000 – $145,000 base salary + annual bonus Employment Type: Full-time W2 only No visa sponsorship available About the Role: We’re hiring a Senior SDET to take a leadership role in building out our automated testing frameworks and elevating the quality of our engineering deliverables.

You’ll work across agile teams to design, develop, and maintain test automation strategies, mentor team members, and ensure seamless CI/CD integration.

What You’ll Do:Develop and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworksBuild and automate test cases, test data, and validation toolsIntegrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)Collaborate with product, dev, and DevOps teams in an agile environmentMentor QA team members and promote quality engineering best practicesProvide clear test reporting and feedback across teams What We’re Looking For:8+ years in QA, SDET, or development roles2+ years in a senior-level automation or leadership capacityExpertise in Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Cucumber, TestNGStrong programming in Java or Python, plus SQLFamiliar with tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, JIRA, Git, JMeterUnderstanding of cloud-based systems and CI/CD processesExcellent communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have:Experience with JavaScript, Angular, Spring FrameworkPerformance testing, Git branching, or cloud infrastructure exposure Why Join Us:Competitive compensation with bonus potentialStable, supportive team environmentHigh-ownership role with room to leadScottsdale-based with hybrid flexibilityTech-forward projects and clear career growth
