IT Application Engineer

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Qualitel is undergoing a digital transformation, and we are looking for a highly ambitious, technical Application Engineer with 2 + years’ experience in deploying SaaS PM solutions for internal stakeholders.

The Application Engineer will be in charge of designing and deploying enterprise solution workflows across the organization, translating user pain points into tangible solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, and effectively communicating issues, and translate resource needs to executives across the organization.Design, deliver and deploy enterprise applications (Monday.com, Intuitive ERP, UniPoint, Aegis MES, etc.) workflows across the organization.Build strong relationships with various departments to understand their needs and ensure their success with the proper enterprise solutions.Act as a project manager to ensure timelines are met on all applications workflow projects.Work with different departments to build their most time-sensitive workflows on Monday.com and ensure there is a clear end-user training plan for those workflows.Empower teams to connect their goals and challenges with the solution on Monday.com.Lead group training, consultations, and one-on-one demos to educate teams on the new features and workflows.Build, own, and execute enterprise workflows projects per department needs.Spearhead internal cross-functional improvement projects.Influence product development roadmap.Provide clients with technical support as needed and relay information to our development teams for ongoing maintenance and update needs.Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades.Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures while improving code and re-designing workflows.Develop specifications and performance requirements for manufacturing equipment.Uses programming knowledge and experience to create workflows to specific job applications.Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories.Keep up with advancements in Application Engineer and new technologies.

Strong emphasis is placed on accountability, performance, reporting, and analytical skills.

Adheres to policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.

Ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time.

Assists in the evaluation of new information systems, products or services and recommends changes to existing products or services to better aid the end user.

This individual reports to the IT Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four-year degree or 2-5 years of related experience requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience supporting Windows based environment.Knowledgeable with cloud platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, HubSpot, etc.Ability to understand SQL Queries, and basic troubleshooting of ODBC Connections.Basic understanding of ERP system.Understand basic network and Vlan.Strong technical project management skills.General ideas of software innovation based on market trends.

Preferred:Proven work experience as an Application Engineer or similar role.Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.Superb collaboration and communication skills.Experience with MS 365 migration, helpful, but not required.Great organization and time management skills.Relevant training and/or certifications as an Application Engineer is a plus but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
