Job Title: Engineering Analyst III Contract: 12 months with opportunity for extension Location: report to mobile offices/job trailer to support long duration projects - SE (Macomb, Royal Oak, etc.) - following construction crews and the work trailers will move Description: Contractors must, at minimum, obtain an OSHA 10-hour Construction Certification.
Considering that we operate in Michigan, MIOSHA Part 10 regulations must be met.
The responsibility for ensuring compliance with this training requirement falls on the suppliers since they assume liability for their employees while on-site.
If a supplier determines that their employee meets this requirement, they must provide written confirmation.
Additionally, employees must be able to present official documentation verifying their training if requested.
Location: The assigned location will be discussed during the interview and may vary based on the candidates’ proximity to planned construction locations.
Candidates can be sourced from anywhere in lower peninsula of Michigan.
We can review preferred locations on the supplier call.
Locations are flexible, but candidates area of residency will impact travel and/or commute times.
The expectation is that the worker would be available for four 10 hour shifts with the opportunity to work on Fridays and Saturdays as well.
Work is completed onsite.
No remote work.
No per diem will be offered for this role.

The expectation will be that they are able to start onsite on day one.
The Senior Engineering Technical Analyst will integrate with Operations' and construction teams during gas construction associated with large gas distribution replacement projects.
The Senior Engineering Technical Analyst will integrate with Operations' and construction teams on moderately complex projects and ensure they are completed according to plan, leverage equipment and technologies to assist with positional verifications and document in-field changes necessary during construction.
The position will directly support construction teams in the field and assist in collecting as-installed gas asset information with GPS antennas leveraging GIS applications to manage relevant data.
The position will report to the Contractor Oversight Liaison and coordinate with Engineering personnel assigned to large, complex distribution plastic gas main construction projects.
In this role, you will: Leverage GIS and GPS technologies to collect as-installed asset information on construction projects for purposes of records development.
Support complex construction concerns where positional relationships are required.
Develop, maintain, and apply documentation processes associated with integrated systems including hardware, applications, protocols, detailed point lists and revision control associated with GIS and GPS technology implementation.
Participate in meetings or demonstrations as necessary such as Operating Reviews, technology field demonstrations, pre-construction meetings.
Travel is required to job sites and project meetings and may vary dependent upon location.
Willing to work additional hours, as necessary, to meet deadlines.

The knowledge and skills involved with this position include but are not limited to: Technical understanding of construction, design, and record development of natural gas distribution systems and principles, including construction print reading, understanding of construction and safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to coordinate project(s) needs and priorities simultaneously.
Communication and Presentation Skills Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna hardware and software usage Understanding of Surveying Control practices Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software understanding.
ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and Field Maps Familiarity with Natural Gas Distribution systems.
