What You’ll Do:Lead and mentor a tight-knit team of engineers working on advanced embedded software projects.Stay hands-on in the codebase, setting a technical example and contributing to architectural decisions.Drive design, implementation, and optimization of embedded systems using Rust, C++, or Python.Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and product teams to bring complex systems to life.Help define technical strategy and ensure delivery of high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.Strong background in embedded systems development with Rust, C++, or Python.Willingness to contribute technically while overseeing broader team execution.Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Based in—or open to relocating to—Santa Barbara (a modest relocation package is available).
