The Role The Systems and Operations Director will oversee day-to-day fulfillment, systems integration, supply chain optimization, and warehouse operations for our business.
This role is ideal for a solutions-oriented leader with experience in omni-channel retail, warehousing, inventory systems, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities Operations & FulfillmentOversee all warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfillment workflowsManage high-level vendor relationships, including 3PL, and approve related invoices (e.g., relabeling, storage, supply)Lead weekly communications with 3PL to maintain alignment on workflows, performance metrics, and project timelinesMonitor warehouse KPIs (e.g., quality control, receiving product SLAs, order processing SLAs, RTVs, inventory audits)Supervise Orlando warehouse performance, providing clear goals and oversight for the Warehouse Manager Project & Systems ManagementLead planning and execution of operational projects (e.g., Amazon implementation, SellerCloud, Plytix, SKUVault)Ensure alignment between Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Ops teams on timelines and system readinessOwn and continuously improve business system administration (e.g., Shopify, Celigo, Klaviyo, Zendesk)Partner with department heads to evaluate, implement, and scale system solutions and process improvements Data & ReportingOversee all data flows, integrations, and EDI connectivity to support organizational needsEnsure system wide data integrity and reporting accuracy across platformsDevelop dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making and business visibilitySupport financial reporting, budgeting, and expense tracking in collaboration with leadership Technology & IT SupportManage procurement, deployment, and maintenance of all technology tools and infrastructureMaintain asset records, contracts, licensing, and user access controlsProvide technical support and escalate issues as needed to ensure minimal downtimeOversee collaboration platforms and maintain internal documentation Team LeadershipCommunicate KPIs and project status updates to leadership and cross-functional teamsProvide coaching, training, and development opportunities for direct reportsLead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of Operations and Systems departmentMaintain documentation of SOPs and workflows for consistency and knowledge transfer Other DutiesParticipate in strategic planning and risk assessmentsResearch and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costsExecute special projects and support cross-departmental initiatives as assigned Requirements7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management (preferably in DTC or omni-channel retail)3+ years of experience managing or implementing ERP/WMS/inventory systems (SellerCloud, SKUVault, or similar)Proven experience managing warehouse or fulfillment center operationsExcellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of inventory control, shipping logistics, and systems integrationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong data analysis and reporting skillsExperience scaling operational infrastructure for growth is a plusFamiliarity with tools like Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, and project management platforms
