Job Summary: We are seeking a mid-to-senior level .NET Developer to support and enhance our client's Referrals Application, a key system used by over 700 internal users to manage and track healthcare service referrals.
This role involves working in a mixed technology environment, focusing on .NET development and system integration to ensure seamless workflows between patients, service providers, and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:Enhance and maintain the Referrals Application, which supports the end-to-end referral lifecycle.Develop and maintain .NET APIs used for application integration with external partners and insurance companies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data exchange across systems.Support integration, workflow, and modernization efforts in both on-prem and cloud-based environments.Assist in the transition to modern architecture, contributing ideas and technical solutions for cloud-native development (Azure/AWS).Participate in application migration planning and execution as part of ongoing modernization efforts.Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using best practices in .NET Core and .NET Framework (4.0, 4.8).Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Must-Have Qualifications:3–7+ years of professional experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework).Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.Experience working in mid-to-large scale enterprise applications.Strong knowledge of software development best practices and SDLC methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience with Azure Cloud or AWS, particularly in cloud-native app development or migration.Exposure to application modernization and legacy system transition strategies.Healthcare industry experience, particularly in systems involving referrals, insurance workflows, or EMR/EHR integration.
Environment & Tools:Languages & Frameworks: .NET Core, .NET Framework (4.0, 4.8), Java (some exposure), PowerBuilder (legacy).Cloud: Primarily on-prem today, evolving toward Azure and AWS cloud architectures.Other Tech: SQL, REST APIs, CI/CD tools.Methodologies: Agile/Scrum.
