DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Groovy Scripting Expertise) Location: Reston, VA Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Groovy scripting to join our dynamic team.

This role will involve building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and integrating various DevOps tools in a scalable and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy DSL.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripting.Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline build, test, and release processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.Maintain and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting infrastructure.Ensure security best practices and compliance are enforced in DevOps processes.

Required Skills:Strong experience with Groovy scripting, especially within Jenkins pipelines.Proficient in DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus/Artifactory, etc.Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration and Shell scripting.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Good understanding of CI/CD practices, GitOps, and SDLC.
