SUMMARY Support the successful planning and execution of Human Resources (HR) workstreams within the district's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation.
Work in close partnership with HR subject matter experts, IT staff, and vendor partners to help define system requirements, validate business processes, support testing, and facilitate user training.
Play a critical role in ensuring accurate configuration, data integrity, and compliance with district policies and employment regulations.
Contribute to change management efforts and provide ongoing support and feedback to enhance the HR system's functionality and user adoption.

Coordinate the planning and execution of HR-related ERP project activities, deliverables, and timelines.
Work closely with HR subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and document requirements for HR modules including payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, position control, performance evaluation, and employee records.
Support system configuration, business process mapping, and validation in coordination with project and vendor teams.
Assist in the development and execution of test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Facilitate training sessions, create instructional materials, and provide support to end users.
Track project status, identify risks or delays in HR workstreams, and escalate issues as needed.
Contribute to data migration, cleansing, and validation activities related to HR records.
Ensure compliance with Jeffco's HR policies, labor agreements, and applicable employment laws and regulations.
Participate in change management planning and execution to support staff adoption and minimize disruption.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement feedback to HR and IT stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or higher required.
Project coordination in human resources preferred.
Experience supporting or participating in an ERP or major HRIS system implementation preferred.
Experience working in a public school district or public sector organization preferred.
EDUCATION & TRAINING Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred field of study in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Project Management.
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required.
Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or Agile) or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of HR functional areas including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, employee records, and compliance.
Familiarity with ERP systems (such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, UKG, or similar) and HRIS platforms.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting project needs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar). SPAN OF CONTROL This position does not supervise other employees but may lead project activities, coordinate cross-functional workgroups, and provide direction to team members assigned to ERP-related tasks.
