Application Programmer – Software Developer Location: DMV Metro Area, Washington, DC Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Application Programmer / Software Developer to provide system development and comprehensive IT support services.

The ideal candidate will support the modernization of a web-based application system in a collaborative team environment, using technologies such as ASP.NET, Bootstrap, JavaScript, C#, and Oracle.

This position involves developing new features, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Candidates must have experience in Agile Scrum environments and demonstrate the ability to provide Tier-3 support for system users.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain .NET applications using Visual Studio, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, Razor, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, C#, and OracleFollow MVC and microservices design patternsParticipate in Agile Scrum software development lifecycle activitiesConduct unit and integration testing before release for user acceptance testingResearch and evaluate new frameworks and technologies for continuous improvementProvide Tier-3 support and troubleshoot user issuesAttend in-person meetings on an as-needed basis Required Qualifications: B.S.

degree in an IT-related field3+ years of experience in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Visual StudioMinimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft DevOpsAbility to work onsite 2 days per week (hybrid schedule)Must be available on camera for all remote meetings via Microsoft Teams Additional Required Experience (minimum of 2 from this list): Experience with Microsoft DevOps using GITProficiency with Bootstrap (v3+)Experience developing RESTful web servicesSQL Server (T-SQL) or Oracle (PL/SQL) database experienceAgile Scrum environment experienceTier-3 support including issue analysis and resolutionFamiliarity with dependency injectionStrong oral and written communication skills Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance requiredCandidates with interim Secret clearance are eligible to start
