Computer Aided Design Technician

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician, located in Austin, TX.

The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering design drawings, collaborating with engineers to support project plans, and ensuring accurate documentation of designs.

Day-to-day tasks also include providing technical support for CAD software, maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all design work complies with industry standards and regulations.

QualificationsProficiency in CAD software and experience in creating and modifying engineering design drawingsKnowledge of Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and Operating SystemsStrong attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate documentation of designsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively on-site in Austin, TXAbility to assist (as-needed) with field survey support throughout TexasAssociate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferredExperience in the Civil Engineering industry is a plusExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation is a plusExperience with civil grading plans is a plus
