IT Manager

ASSYST is seeking a technically skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead and support our infrastructure and systems administration team.

This is a full-time, onsite position based at our headquarters in Sterling, VA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in systems engineering and administration, and be willing to participate directly in technical and engineering tasks.

The position requires US Citizenship Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage IT operations, including oversight of Systems Administrators and Network Engineers.Provide hands-on support for system engineering tasks and resolve complex infrastructure issues as needed.Administer and maintain Linux environmentsManage and optimize AWS workloads and Azure cloud resources.Conduct and remediate security scans, and ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and other security standards.Drive process improvements and support internal and external compliance initiatives.

Requirements: Hands-on experience with Linux, Apache modsecurityHands-on experience with AWS workloads and Azure resourcesHands-on experience in TLS, SSL certificates renewal and deploymentHands-on experience with security scans, DOD STIGs and remediationExperience Managing Network engineers / Systems Admins preferredProcess improvement areas and compliance activities Certifications in AWS, Azure and Linux/Windows admin preferred ASSYST is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
