Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Payroll Administrator opening!
This temp to hire opportunity offers full time hours and a competitive pay rate, $28.00-31.00/hr based on experience.
In this role you will compile payroll information by managing, developing, implementing, and maintaining payroll processes and procedures, completing reports, maintaining records, and supervising the payroll associates.
Specific duties include: Updating payroll records by reviewing and approving changes including exemptions, payroll deductions, taxes, job titles, department transfers, rate changes, and benefit changes.Paying employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks and direct deposit to bank accounts.Overseeing audit and reconciliation of payroll, personnel, and benefits actions and documents for more than 300 employees.Preparing a variety of reports including summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.Determining payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal, state, and local income and FICA taxes and employer’s FICA, unemployment, FUTA.Resolving discrepancies and outstanding checks.Answering payroll related questions from management and staff.Preparing workers' compensation audit reports for all companies.
Candidates for this role must have at least 5 year's payroll experience.
