The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) is responsible for the oversight of the Department of Defense’s sexual assault policy.
SAPRO works hand-in-hand with the services and civilian community to develop and implement innovative prevention and response program.
Duties/Responsibilities: 1 to 3 years of experienceDevelop or apply mathematical or statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information.Experience with R coding and working with large data sets required.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to multitask and apply critical thinking to task management.Ability to quickly adapt to changing client priorities and respond to short deadline, ad hoc requests.Self-starter, multi-tasker and thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment.Possession of excellent analysis and data gathering skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong background in public health, sociology, or other social science.Must live within 50-mile radius of Alexandria, VA.NACI Clearance (Current or recent CAC) preferred.
