Director, Segment Manager Position Summary: The Sales & Business Development Manager will lead the growth of our molecular sieve dehydration product line, targeting key markets such as natural gas processing, NGL/LNG, gas pretreatment, and petrochemical feed drying.

This role is responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships with end users, EPCs, licensors, and OEMs.

You’ll focus on early project engagement, technical solution selling, and market mapping to position our valve solutions for success.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, requiring strong technical sales acumen, industry knowledge, and the ability to work independently across a high-opportunity market segment.

Principal Activities: You will: •\tDrive sales of valve solutions within molecular sieve dehydration and related applications across energy transition sectors.

•\tIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities by targeting end users, EPCs, and licensors.

•\tInfluence early-stage project specifications and secure inclusion on Approved Vendor/Manufacturer Lists (AVL/AML). •\tMap and maintain relationships at all organizational levels—project, plant, and corporate.

•\tDevelop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with corporate growth goals •\tBuild and maintain long-term technical and commercial relationships with key decision-makers.

•\tConduct technical sales calls, present tailored solutions, lead bid reviews, and negotiate terms.

•\tRepresent the company at industry events, technical forums, and customer demonstrations.

•\tAct as a voice of the customer—providing internal teams with feedback on needs, trends, and opportunities.

•\tWork cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and engineering to support go-to- market initiatives.

•\tContribute to proposal strategies, marketing campaigns, and product positioning.

•\tSupport internal planning sessions and participate in commercial reviews with actionable market insights.

•\tMaintain accurate and detailed CRM records of customer interactions, project opportunities, and competitive intelligence.

•\tMonitor region and maintain details regarding customer segmentation and competitive landscape •\tTrack market trends and emerging players to align solutions with evolving customer requirements.

•\tEnsure timely and accurate submission of expense reports, client meeting summaries, and follow-up actions.

•\tChampion continuous improvement in sales execution and customer engagement processes.

Candidate Requirements: Knowledge Skills & Abilities You Have: •\tStrong ability to identify, qualify, and close opportunities in technical, project-based sales cycles.

•\tFamiliarity with molecular sieve dehydration units, energy transition applications, and capital equipment sales (preferred). •\tExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

•\tGenerous listening skills with an ability to translate information received from stakeholders into effective solutions.

•\tDemonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and build multi-level stakeholder relationships.

•\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); CRM experience (preferably Dynamics 365). •\tWillingness to travel 50%+ by air and ground.

•\tHigh emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and accountability in an independent work environment.

Education & Experience •\tBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, preferred), Industrial Technology, or related technical field •\tMinimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or business development—ideally involving valves, flow control, or engineered systems.

•\tFamiliarity with Korn Ferry Blue Sheet strategic selling •\tProven track record in engaging EPCs, licensors, and end users for large capital projects.
