ZRG is proud to support Archer in their search for a Plug and Packer Mechanical Engineer to join their Global Well Services ET&S Team.

This role will report directly to the Technology Center Manager and will be instrumental in delivering innovative downhole solutions aligned with Archer’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, develop, and maintain mechanical products aligned with project requirements and company standards using simulations and modeling.Create 2D/3D models, technical drawings, calculations, and FEA analyses in compliance with engineering guidelines.Design test procedures and lead the assembly of prototypes and systems for evaluation.Prepare and maintain project documentation according to PLMP standards.Conduct or participate in design reviews for new and ongoing projects.Manage Synergi actions, Engineering Change Orders, and supplier deviations efficiently.Provide technical input and troubleshooting support to the Project team as needed.Offer technical support to Sales and Operations teams when required.Adhere to and promote compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures.This position requires commuting to the designated office, with flexibility depending on business needs and manager arrangement.

Qualifications & ExperienceB.Sc.

or M.Sc.

in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline OR (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).Minimum 5 years of documented engineering experience.Design and development of products such as Well Abandonment, Fishing and Remedial, Wellbore departure, bore hole enlargement and Completions.Experience in design related to well integrity product standards (e.g., ISO 14310, API 11 D1, ISO 14998, ISO 23936-2) is highly desirable.Ability to produce ISO 128 & GPS standard drawings, perform tolerance analysis, and complete structural calculations.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor required).Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design for manufacturability.FEA proficiency; experience with Ansys is a plus.Strong self-motivation and ability to prioritize tasks and drive projects forward.Well completions, isolation tools, or well abandonment equipment.
