Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable Tier 2 Cloud Support Engineer (with expertise in Microsoft Modern Work Solutions). This role focuses on resolving technical issues related to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID.

You'll work with our clients to troubleshoot cloud collaboration tools, secure endpoint access, and maintain productivity for users across devices.

Responsibilities:Provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.Troubleshoot Exchange Online mail flow, mailbox access, and policy enforcement issues.Support device management and security policies through Microsoft Intune (MDM & MAM).Assist with Conditional Access, MFA configurations, and access restrictions using Entra ID.Monitor and resolve support tickets related to identity, access, endpoint compliance, and app deployment.Escalate advanced issues to Tier 3 SMEs or Microsoft as needed.Document technical solutions and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):3-5+ years supporting Microsoft 365 environments in a support or engineering role.Strong hands-on experience with: Exchange Online (mail flow, policies, client config), Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, compliance policies, app deployment), Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, roles, user/device objects)Proficient with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune Admin Center, and Entra portal.Microsoft Certification Required: MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator OR MD-102: Endpoint Administrator AssociateFamiliar with PowerShell for M365 administration and basic automation.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting end-user escalations.Customer service focus with strong written and verbal communication skills.High school diploma or GED required (bachelor’s degree preferred). Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):Experience supporting Teams voice features, SharePoint permissions, and advanced Outlook troubleshooting.Familiarity with Defender for Office 365, compliance policies, and DLP features.Exposure to Azure components such as VMs, NSGs, VNets, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect.Understanding of hybrid identity models and tools like Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Log Analytics.
