IT Systems Engineer

Job Description: IT Systems Engineer Only for Permanent residents.

Our client is seeking a well-rounded IT Systems Engineer with strong infrastructure expertise and a hands-on approach to managing systems across end-user computing, Azure cloud, and enterprise monitoring.

This role will work closely with senior technical leaders to improve visibility, support Azure migration initiatives, and lead general infrastructure operations—without a focus on automation or scripting.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and support end-user computing initiatives, including Intune Autopilot configuration and deploymentAssist with the data center migration to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition of services and infrastructureEvaluate and overhaul monitoring and visibility tools, ensuring the right solutions are in place to proactively manage systems and performanceCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders (including technical leads) to deliver infrastructure improvements across the organizationManage and maintain Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, and related identity and access solutionsSupport operational IT infrastructure tasks such as configuration, troubleshooting, and system upgradesContribute to the overall strategy for infrastructure monitoring and incident response processes Key Skills & Experience (in priority order):Proficient in Office 365 administration and supportHands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud service managementStrong knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, or similar tools)Solid experience with Active Directory, including group policy and user administrationExperience with Microsoft Intune, including Autopilot deploymentFamiliarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity lifecycle management Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)Ability to work across technical domains and collaborate with multiple teamsComfortable managing infrastructure without heavy reliance on automation or scriptingPrior experience working in an infrastructure-focused role supporting monitoring and visibility for cloud platforms
