Role Title – Data Solution Architect / Director Location – Louisville, KY (Onsite) Mode of Hire - Full-time with benefits Role Responsibilities:The Data Solution Architect will be responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams in alignment with architectural governance and standardDeveloping and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes (healthcare and specifically in PBMThe strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systemIdentifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategyCoordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data systemManaging end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organizationIntegrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and securityAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirementIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etBuild analytics tools that utilize the data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metric.
Required Skills:17+ years of industry experience with a strong blend of consulting and hands-on data architecture, including leadership roles in healthcare and PBM/pharmacy domains.Deep expertise in Data Lake architecture with hands-on skills in Databricks, Snowflake, ETL, and PySpark for building scalable, cloud-native data solutions.Proven success in leading data strategy, architecture, and engineering teams, with a focus on high-impact healthcare data initiatives.Strong domain knowledge of PBM and Pharmacy workflows including claims, eligibility, formulary, rebates, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams in complex environments.
