Cisco ACI Engineer

Seeking a Cisco ACI Engineer for a 6 month W-2 contract position that is 100% onsite in St.

Louis, MO.

ONLY candidates that currently reside in the St.

Louis metro area will be considered.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco ACI Engineer to join our dynamic network team.

This role focuses on the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Cisco networking infrastructure—particularly Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)—to support secure and scalable enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabric and traditional Cisco network hardwarePerform lifecycle activities including onboarding and decommissioning network hardwareTroubleshoot and optimize dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRPCollaborate with network architecture, security, and cloud teams to support hybrid environmentsManage migrations, firmware updates, and coordinate responses to planned or unplanned outagesExecute and document Layer 3 upgrades to ensure robust and future-proof connectivityChampion best practices and provide training to internal teams on Cisco ACI tools and methodologies Qualifications & Skills:5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco ACI in production environmentsStrong expertise in Layer 2/3 networking and dynamic routing protocolsSolid understanding of network segmentation, policy-driven networking, and ACI overlaysExcellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindsetExperience working cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, and operations teamsStrong communication and documentation abilities PLEASE, NO C2C Solicitations, C2C Referrals or Third Party's.
