Data Analyst

Our major Oil & Gas (O&G) client is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their team in Spring, TX for a 1-year assignment.

Main Functions:Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to derive insights and support decision-making.May consolidate and present data in charts, graphs, or tables for reporting purposes.Focused on improving data quality and ensuring consistency across various sources.Minimal work direction needed—must be a highly skilled, independent professional.Recognized expert in the field, possibly holding professional certifications.

Skills and Qualifications:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Report generation & data analysis experience.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.Python (Pandas) for data cleaning, automation, and analysis.Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).API-driven solutions experience, working with multiple data sources.Experience handling large-scale data (millions of rows in a table).ETL & Data Integration experience with a preference for backend data processing
