We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of our store, with responsibilities that span both our indoor retail space and our outdoor display/work areas.

Your dedication to creating a positive experience for every customer will be key, as will your ability to effectively manage day-to-day activities.

What You'll Do:Lead by Example: Provide outstanding customer service, actively engaging with customers both inside the store and in our outdoor sections, answering questions, and helping them find exactly what they need.Operational Excellence: Take charge of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures as a key holder.Team Management: Assist in the training, development, and supervision of our team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Scheduling & Payroll: Develop and manage employee schedules efficiently and accurately process payroll.Inventory & Merchandising: Help manage inventory, ensure our indoor and outdoor areas are well-stocked, visually appealing, and organized.Problem Solver: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with a calm and professional demeanor.Maintain Standards: Ensure the store, both indoors and outdoors, is always clean, safe, and welcoming.Support & Collaborate: Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and operational targets.

What You'll Bring:Customer Focus: A genuine enjoyment of interacting with people and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service.Outdoor Enthusiast: Comfortable and energized by working in various outdoor conditions as needed, managing outdoor displays and customer interactions.Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in retail.Operational Savvy: Proven ability to handle key management activities, including opening/closing, scheduling, and payroll.Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly and resolve issues effectively.Reliability: A responsible and dependable work ethic, including punctuality and consistent attendance.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]), and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
