Senior Systems Analyst

e&e is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst (Operations) to support the operations and performance of a statewide health insurance exchange system.

This position is responsible for administering key enterprise tools, managing complex batch operations, maintaining application stability, and supporting releases and upgrades within a hybrid cloud environment.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in system administration, Informatica operations, and troubleshooting Java-based applications in AWS environments.

Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Informatica PowerCenter, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Support large-scale batch scheduling using Control-M or equivalent tools.Troubleshoot and support Java-based applications hosted in AWS environments (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat).Manage SSL certificates and PGP key creation and renewal.Maintain and configure middleware components, including Red Hat JBoss, Fuse, Apache, and Tomcat.Conduct log analysis using tools such as Splunk to resolve system and application issues.Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot application scripts and web services.Utilize Jenkins for automation and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).Monitor system health and performance metrics, supporting ongoing optimization and tuning.Participate in scheduled maintenance and release activities, including after-hours support rotations.Track and manage incidents and changes using Jira Service Desk.Adhere to PMO processes, including documentation and change control protocols.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter administration and operations.3+ years of experience with Control-M or similar batch job scheduling tools.2+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.Familiarity with healthcare, health insurance, or human services systems.Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical issues and system performance problems.Working knowledge of SQL, shell scripting, and system logs.Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:5+ years supporting enterprise-level systems and infrastructure.5+ years of experience managing complex batch operations.3+ years of experience troubleshooting AWS-hosted applications using JBoss/Tomcat.Experience with EDI operations and monitoring Java runtime environments (e.g., heap memory, garbage collection).Background in strategic problem resolution and risk mitigation planning.Familiarity with PMO practices and documentation standards.Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and monitoring tools like Splunk.
