Senior Service Designer

Senior Service Designer Hybrid schedule in Plano Texas 6 Month Contract To hire (Potential for extension or conversion) Job Description The Senior Service Designer is a core member of the Services Pursuit team.

Service Designer has a general knowledge of a particular area of Services (Workplace, Datacentre, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional), such as delivery methodology, cost drivers, supporting / enabling technologies, etc.

The Senior Service Designer is responsible for the assessment of customer requirements, development of service design, cost calculation, and non-complex pricing for Services solutions.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the analysis of customer requirementsSupport the qualification of opportunities and customer requirements against the capabilities and strengths of Delivery units (ISPs) and the Service Catalogue\Support of customer specific campaigns, coordination of marketing support, ensuring Computacenter brand compliance Service DesignAssess and clarify customer requirementsMap requirements against Computacenter existing capabilitiesMaximize the opportunities to utilize the Shared Service Factory and other core propositions.Consider services outside of our existing capabilitiesDefine and communicate requirements for Transition & TransformationWorking closely and collaboratively with the Solution Manager, assist with the development of the solution/design (technical, operational, commercial)Creates costing for developed service across the entire Services areaWorking jointly with Delivery teams, agree to the solution design & costingWork as part of a team on larger solutions to ensure that hand over to relevant support organization is successfully completed.Creates complex pricing QualificationsStrong experience pricing large, complex IT Infrastructure projectsGood service understanding of IT Services (Workplace, Data center, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional),Good understanding of the IT outsourcing market & competitionCommercial capability in a business focused IT environmentLegally eligible to work in the United States Skills & CompetenciesAbility to build relationships primarily with internal stakeholders and ISP’sAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsAnalytical and risk aware approachCapable of working under own initiative but can work as a member of a teamAbility to prioritize own workloadPersonal flexibility & willingness to travel.Self-starting and results driven though clear prioritization of deliverablesAbility to work under time pressureManaging and minimizing risk to bid deliverables and ensuring we always have the customer and customer deliverables in mind Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
