Head of Credit Technology Engineering (Hands-on Lead)

Focus Capital is supporting its asset manager and its private hedge fund, which operates across multiple asset classes and strategies.

We are looking for a hands-on technology leader to deliver software solutions for portfolio managers and credit researchers.

This includes delivering core applications and platforms used by traders to consume quantitative models and other information.

This is a highly-visible role in which you will interface with the credit trading and research desks, design technical roadmaps, build, scale and improve applications, while also leading a small team comprised of software engineers.

You will also have the ability to integrate and develop AI solutions to improve these products.

Minimum Requirements:7+ years of technology experience, working with credit research/trading, credit derivatives, fixed income or other relevant asset classes.Hands-on development experience with modern object oriented languages (i.e.

Java, Python, JavaScript)Ability to interface with front office personnel including traders and researchers.Prior experience as the technical lead for 5+ direct reports.Quantitative finance experience is a plus.Bachelors in mathematics, physics, computer science, computational finance or a related field of study.
