System Architect

Job Title: Systems Architect Location: Downtown Houston (Hybrid – 2 days WFH) Contract: 6 months Company Overview A leading midstream services provider headquartered in Houston, specializing in natural gas and NGL transportation and processing across a vast pipeline network in the U.S.

Role Overview As a Technical Software Architect, you’ll lead integration efforts and major COTS enhancements, translating business needs into robust technical solutions.

You'll work across teams to design, develop, and test .NET applications and integrations, ensuring system stability, performance, and maintainability.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable software architecture for enterprise applicationsCollaborate with system architects, developers, and end-users to gather requirements and validate solutionsDevelop and maintain technical documentationLead integration efforts using .NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and ETL tools like SSIS and Dell BoomiOversee multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality assuranceParticipate in project planning, stakeholder meetings, and user testingMentor junior developers and support internal technical initiatives Skills & Experience6+ years in Microsoft BI and reporting tools (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI)5+ years in data warehouse/ETL developmentStrong experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, MVC), SQL/Oracle, and Visual StudioFamiliar with Agile, Waterfall, and ITIL practicesStrong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills PreferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldAbility to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholdersWillingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%) Please email me your CV
