Sr. Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer IV to join our team in Littleton, CO.

This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role for an experienced network professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining network infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring stability and optimal performance for internal teams and testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:Configure, manage, and maintain networking equipment from bare metal (no templates).Troubleshoot network issues with minimal supervision and resolve problems proactively.Support over 300+ new switch installations and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.Implement and manage hundreds of VLANs to support testing environments and enhance security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testers and developers to ensure seamless network functionality.Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.Assist in the addition of a second core router and support its integration with existing infrastructure.Ensure network stability that supports independent operations from the corporate network.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong expertise in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.Hands-on experience with Cisco and HP/Aruba networking gear.Ability to independently configure network devices without relying on existing templates.Experience working independently with minimal oversight.Excellent documentation habits and process tracking.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.Experience managing medium-to-large scale networks.Background in highly segmented and secured networking environments.
