Title: Master Scheduler Location: 9200 Smith’s Mill Road, New Albany, Ohio 43054 Job Type: Perm Pay Range: 70K-85K- Yearly SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.

This role requires close coordination with scheduling, customer service, compounding, pre-weigh, and procurement teams to optimize operations and resolve issues.

Key responsibilities include verifying inventory, aligning job sizing with equipment capabilities, monitoring material usage, and tracking production metrics such as output, efficiency, and downtime.

The scheduler will support forecasting, adjust schedules based on demand shifts, and recommend improvements to enhance cost, quality, and overall efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCoordinate daily, weekly, and master production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operationsServe as the central point of contact between production, procurement, sales, and other departmentsAlign schedules with business goals, tank capacity, staffing levels, and time constraintsSupport all functions within the Scheduling department as neededOversee pre-weigh and compounding schedules, along with the scheduling teamMonitor production schedules and material usage to ensure optimal production flowCoordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and avoid disruptionsRecord and analyze production metrics, including output, efficiency, downtime, waste, and labor productivityIdentify areas for improvement through data analysis and production monitoringAssist with demand forecasting and adjust schedules as needed to meet changes in demandTroubleshoot scheduling issues and resolve delays affecting production timelinesRecommend process optimizations, cost-saving strategies, and quality improvementsDemonstrate strong time management, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency COMPETENCIESStrong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilitiesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsFluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset for solving scheduling challengesProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems a plusSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment/staffing capabilitiesStrong working knowledge of fundamental math skills; statistical methods a plusExperience with production scheduling and KPI/metrics development preferredAble to perform under pressure and adapt quickly to production changesResults-oriented and execution-focused, with a proactive, hands-on approach SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESYes WORK ENVIRONMENTPrimarily functions in a climate-controlled officeOccasionally requires presence on the production floorMay be exposed to moving mechanical parts and airborne particlesModerate noise level PHYSICAL DEMANDSStandard physical demands of an office and manufacturing environment POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKFull-timeMonday through Friday, 8 hours/dayMay require early starts, late evenings, or weekend work depending on scheduling deadlines TRAVELNo travel expected REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEStrong ability to read and interpret instructions and correspondenceAbility to effectively communicate with internal partnersStrong math skills including working with fractions, decimals, and percentagesAbility to draw and interpret graphs ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSStrong English language proficiency, including grammar and compositionExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsProven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Pay Range: 70K-85k- Yearly The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
