Network-Audio Programmer

A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical, and computing industry, seeks an Audio/Visual DSP Programmer.

Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector.

Additionally, comprehensive audio video skills.

Ideal candidate would have Associates level college degree in a technology related field and/or minimum 3 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTest point to point functionality of systemsWrite code for DSP systemsLoad, test, and troubleshoot code for DSP systemsMake programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmerFine tune audio systems to ensure optimal performanceAbility to travel to various job sites required Skills and AbilitiesCommunicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely mannerProven business writing skillsProficient with test and calibration equipmentSupport user acceptance testingAbility to diagnose complex system problemsKnowledge of Advanced signal flow for audio, video and controlAdvanced PC proficiencyEffective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleaguesAbility to balance multiple tasks with changing prioritiesAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesStrong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail Education and/or ExperienceMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of AV Installation experience preferredA four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experienceValid Driver's License Working Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

This job operates in a professional office environment.Will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.Will work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
