The position will be an integral member of the investment team and support all aspects of the investment and portfolio management processes.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Modeling & Valuation: Develop sophisticated financial models (LBO, M&A, DCF, etc.) to assess investment viability and support strategic planning.
Transaction Execution: Support all phases of the investment process, including structuring transactions, negotiating deal terms, and coordinating with legal and other advisors.
Portfolio Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the financial performance of existing portfolio companies, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing regular performance reports.
Strategic Financial Leadership: Work directly with portfolio company management teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support growth objectives, optimize capital structure, and enhance profitability.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead or significantly contribute to the development of robust budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for portfolio companies.
Reporting & Analytics: Establish and refine financial reporting systems, providing timely and accurate financial statements, operational dashboards, and performance metrics to both internal stakeholders and management teams.
Cash Flow Management: Implement best practices for working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity optimization within portfolio companies.
Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier university.
An MBA, CFA or CPA designation is a plus.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a corporate development role with demonstrable financial modeling and analytical skills.
Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling (LBO, M&A, DCF).Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (management teams, investors, board members). Leadership & Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with diverse teams, including senior management, portfolio company employees, and external advisors.
Self-Starter & Proactive: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in both fast-paced, demanding environments and in lull environments, and ability to take ownership of tasks and drives them to completion without significant supervision.
